the orator

The turtle has charisma. Just ask his imaginary audience. Every once in a while, my little guy will stand, hands resting on the ottoman or the side table, and begin speaking. He will use different tone, inflection and volume to highlight specific points. He will lift both hands in the air or point a finger. Sometimes he will thumb through the pages of a book, find something of particular interest and refer to it during his speech.

Though the turtle has a small vocabulary (see turtle talk), he doesn't call upon it when he's giving these orations. So, we have no idea what he's saying and to whom...nonetheless, I could watch him for hours.

  1. Maybe you should record his words and when he gets older and know more words. He can decipher what he said.

Either way you have captured a moment in time!
